Beech Cottage

Beech Cottage is a one-bedroom base in Windermere, positioned behind the main shops but within easy reach of the town's facilities. Downstairs, the open-plan living space combines a sitting area with dining and kitchen zones, where you can cook full meals on an electric cooker. Upstairs, a double bed and single bed occupy the bedroom, served by a shower room with cubicle shower. The cottage is yours alone, with Wi-Fi, electricity and bed linen provided; note that it contains steep spiral stairs and is not suitable for children under 12.

A pub and restaurant sit just yards away, and Windermere's shops and cafés are on your doorstep. The Lake District stretches beyond: walking trails range from gentle lakeside paths to fell hikes, and Orrest Head offers views across the water to the mountains. Cycling, horse riding, golf and fishing are all available locally. Bowness, Coniston Water and Kendal lie within reach for a day out, as do heritage sites such as Brockhole's National Park Visitor Centre and the Beatrix Potter Exhibition.
