Blelham Tarn - Neaum Crag

The Lake District between Coniston and Ambleside draws walkers and outdoor enthusiasts year round. Neaum Crag, a timber lodge at Skelwith Bridge, sits within a private residential park where the woodland setting feels genuinely remote despite being minutes from Ambleside's shops, pubs and restaurants. Wildlife is a regular feature—red squirrels and deer move through the grounds.

The lodge is single-storey and entirely on the ground floor. An open-plan living, dining and kitchen area gives onto decking with garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a double bed and one with twin singles. Both have smart TVs. A shower room completes the layout. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

Guests can use a small indoor swimming pool and sauna (shared, available at certain times). One dog is welcome. Parking for two cars is provided on site, and there is an electric car charging point available at cost. No smoking inside.
