Elterwater - Neaum Crag

Neaum Crag is a wooden lodge set within 18 acres of natural grounds and woodland near Elterwater. The property sleeps four across a double bedroom and a twin, with a shower room, kitchen and living space. One well-behaved dog stays free. Parking for two cars is on site, and the entrance involves six steps from the parking area.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the utility room, shared with other guests. The garden has a large decking area with seating and an outdoor heater. A shared indoor swimming pool (3.6 metres by 6 metres, 1.2 metres deep, open March to mid-November) is on the grounds, along with a Jacuzzi, sauna and table tennis table. No smoking is permitted, and there is an unfenced pond in the grounds.

The lodge sits within reach of the Langdale Valley and various woodland and hill walks. Ambleside is two and a half miles away; Coniston is eight miles. A pub and restaurant are a quarter of a mile away. The Lake District Visitor Centre near Windermere and a water sports centre on Windermere are also accessible from here.
