The ground floor has a living room with a gas fire and smart TV, plus a kitchen-diner with electric cooker, hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer; the first floor holds three bedrooms (one king, one twin, one single) and a bathroom with bath and shower. A south-facing back garden has seating and furniture. One car can park on site.
Penrith town centre is a ten-minute walk away, with its leisure centre, supermarkets, independent shops, and pubs. The bus station is equally close for services across the region. Penrith railway station, fifteen minutes on foot, connects to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London. Ullswater lies fifteen minutes' drive north, Keswick and Derwent Water twenty-five minutes south. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking indoors.
