About CornerHouse Guesthouse
CornerHouse Guesthouse occupies a corner property on Victoria Road in Penrith, a period-style building given over entirely to adults-only accommodation. It has the feel of a traditional guesthouse rather than a large hotel, with a personal touch that comes through in the small number of rooms and the attention paid to guests.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and in-room drinks, and free WiFi is available throughout. Breakfast is included, and reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible. Free on-site parking makes this a straightforward base for those arriving by car.
A pub, restaurant and golf course are all nearby, along with other entertainment options in the local area, making it easy to fill an evening after a day out. Penrith itself sits within easy reach of the Lake District's outdoor attractions, and CornerHouse Guesthouse makes a sound, unfussy base for exploring them.
