Campbell Cottage

Windermere village sits at the heart of the Lake District, its independent shops, galleries and cafes within easy reach on foot. Campbell Cottage occupies a central position here, giving you access to restaurants and pubs without needing to go far. The wider area—including Bowness-on-Windermere a mile away—offers more of the same if you want to venture further, though many guests find the immediate surroundings enough.

The cottage sleeps four across three bedrooms: a king on the lower ground floor, a king on the first floor, and a twin bedroom upstairs. One bathroom serves the property, fitted with a bath and shower. Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining spaces both have woodburners; the kitchen is equipped for anything from casual meals to full cooking, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are included. One free on-road parking permit comes with the property.

An enclosed patio at the rear provides outdoor space. The cottage is entirely yours for the stay—no shared areas. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
