Hilltoft Barn

Hilltoft Barn works well for couples or small families wanting Lake District access from a private base. The conversion sleeps four across two bedrooms—a twin on the ground floor and a double on a galleried mezzanine level—with one bathroom and a separate wet room. The ground floor opens into a living space with patio doors onto a courtyard; the kitchen has electric cooking, a dishwasher and washing machine. Oil heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Dockray is a small village where The Royal Hotel pub stands within a mile's walk. The Aira Force waterfall and Gowbarrow Trail are nearby for walking or cycling. Parking for two cars sits on the property; there is also a bike store. The cottage is no-smoking, and one dog is welcome. A few steps lead into the courtyard garden, where there is space to sit outside. The nearest shop is four miles away.
