Ambleside sits at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, making it an ideal base for exploring the central Lakes. From here you can walk to the water's edge for boat trips and watersports, climb Loughrigg Fell, or drive to Grasmere and Keswick within half an hour. The village itself has independent shops, cafés and walking routes that start from your doorstep, so there's no shortage of things to do whether you want outdoor activity or quieter days.

Lakeside Gables is a spacious apartment with a king-size bedroom and twin room, each with its own en-suite shower room, plus a separate family bathroom—generous provision that works well for two couples. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and there are two sitting areas to spread out in, one positioned to make the most of views towards Loughrigg. A private patio offers a spot to sit after a day on the fells. Bike storage is available if you're planning to cycle, and there's an off-road parking space plus additional shared parking on site. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The apartment is non-smoking.
