The open-plan living and dining space has a wood burner and patio doors that open onto a large sitting area overlooking the water and fell, where a stream cascades audibly past the garden furniture. Everything is on one level: two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer-dryer, and practical heating via air source heat pump.
The first bedroom has a kingsize bed with a bath and shower; the second a super kingsize with a walk-in shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner. Private parking for two cars is on site. The property suits adults and children aged ten and over. Ambleside's shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance, and the riverside location provides immediate access to the fells and water.

A very modern two bedroomed accomodation just outside Ambleside, one mile and 10 minutes walk to Rydal for the bus. Even though seems to be in the middle of nowhere, it was a great location. Each bedroom had an ensuite. And it had everything you needed. Parking for two cars even EVs can be charged. You have to go along a single track lane but not an issue. Lovely sitting and seeing the country side.

Absolutely superb holiday accommodation. Great location, superb views from floor to ceiling windows, big kitchen dining and sitting with wood burner, luxurious beds, towels and bathrooms. Our second stay over Christmas and we’ll be back for sure. 👍

Our second visit to the garden cottage And it was amazing. Very clean and tidy. Accomodation Lovely walks close by And will definitely be returning. And would highly recommend it to anyone Graham and wendy

Just spent a relaxing few days in this stunning property. It is cleverly designed to focus the open plan kitchen, dining and living area on the beautiful view down the valley, The luxurious ensuite bedrooms are at the back where you can hear a small waterfall tumbling down the hill. Very few cars pass by along the single track road but plenty of walkers and cyclists do - and a fair few jet fighters fly up the valley! If you see the stepping stones check them out. Don’t delay as they disappear after a heavy rain storm!
