About Caithness Inn

Wick railway station is just a short drive away, and the High Street around Caithness Inn puts pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach on foot, making it a straightforward base for exploring the town without needing a car for every trip.

Caithness Inn itself is a straightforward hotel with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in the room and sea views from parts of the building. There's 24 hour reception and room service for those arriving late or wanting to stay in, plus cycle storage for anyone touring the area on two wheels. Free WiFi is provided throughout.

Guests aren't tied to the hotel's own kitchen, as bars and restaurants nearby cover most tastes, and free nearby parking takes care of practicalities for those driving up. It's a functional, well-placed option for visitors wanting to be near the station and the town centre rather than out on its own.

ABC Tuition Centre

Hotel is located in the centre of Wick and is close to nearby transport and attractions. Beautiful views from rooms and excellent staff always happy to help. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was excellent and clean. Tea and coffee was provided. They give you 10% off for food at the local famous takeaway and hotel is very close to food places. I recommend staying here and will definitely come again.

If you’re looking to be disgusted and disappointed all in one visit this is place. I was placed in a room with a stained mattress. It was thick with mould in the bathroom, heathy and safety hazard for people, sink taps heavy with mould, spit stains down the walls of the bathroom, and on the uncleaned mirror also, the carpet was not hoovered lifting your feet to the bed would bring up vile debris, no wardrobe just a cheap flimsy open frame, broken blinds, tv was also broken, back garden was filled with rubbish and filth, spare loo in the landing was disgusting, I’ll spare the vile details about it. I woke cold no heating, no hot water either even though I didn’t want to wash there. I believe I was the only guest. I was booked for 2 nights but left at 5am after a horrendous nights sleeping experience and found somewhere else the next day. The worst place I’ve ever stayed by miles!!

Stayed here for a one night stay, room was clean and service was good. However windows let in a constant draft due to not being properly fitted, making the room very cold, no hot water in the morning either.
