We’ve just stayed at Windermere Suites for three nights over the bank holiday weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful. Vicky is a lovely host who genuinely can’t do enough for you — her warmth and attention to detail make the whole stay feel special. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated with modern, tasteful furnishings. The generously stocked mini bar is a great touch, and the spa bath with mood lighting is incredible. You even get a TV in the bathroom, which adds a real sense of luxury. Each evening you choose your breakfast for the next morning, and it’s delivered to your room on a little trolley at the time you prefer. The breakfast is outstanding — everything is cooked perfectly and made with high‑quality ingredients. The location is ideal too: just a five‑minute walk into Windermere and around twenty minutes to Bowness, making it perfect for exploring without needing the car. A fantastic stay from start to finish. Windermere Suites offers the perfect mix of luxury, comfort and thoughtful hospitality. We’ll definitely be returning.

We stayed at the Windermere Suites for 4 nights last week and had the Best time - the suite/room, the location, the host/owner (Vicky along with her beloved dog, Jet). Our room was spacious, luxurious and had plenty of space including a separate dressing room with mini bar and safe and a fabulous bathroom which included a spacious walk in shower and the piece de resistance - an Air Spa Bath which was truly an indulgent treat at the end of days spent exploring, walking and touring the Lakes. We had the Bowness Suite which also had an outdoor patio/garden space too which was just so nice to have access to fresh air and nature. It was all very private and quiet too which I valued and there is plenty of parking space too. The Breakfasts must receive a special mention. You are spoiled and indulged with a Breakfast for Kings! The portions are super generous and I didn't have room for lunch. The Breakfast is served via a personal hatch to your room so you are able tp enjoy it in the privacy of your room at the dining table - it's such a wonderful idea and this made for a very private and relaxed breakfast without having to go to a shared dining room. Breakfast offered plenty of choices and included a fresh juice of your choice, Granola, a cooked main breakfast (Full Cumberland English or Salmon Bagels or Eggs Benedict - vegetarian options available for all choices), teas and coffees - it was one of the highlights of our stay. Last but not least, the host/owner of Windermere Suites is a fantastic lady called Vicky who along with her trusty canine partner (Jet) run things like clockwork - she is a real force of nature, is super organised and service oriented - nothing is too much for her to deal with and manage. She is a fount of information and knowledge and has many suggestions for places to visit, tours to go on and restaurants that are worth going to - all served up with a great sense of humour and bags of patience. We are coming back here as it was such a lovely place to stay at and to be based from, being only a 10 minute walk from Windermere station and close to Bowness on Windermere and very easy and frequent buses and taxis to Ambleside,, Grasmere and beyond. If I could give 6 or 7 stars, I would! Highly recommended. Thanks you Vicky and Jet for an unforgettable stay in Windermere.

Great location with both Windermere centre and Bowness within a few minutes walk. The suites are luxurious and spacious, the hostess friendly and knowledgeable on where to eat, great walks and local attractions, and the room service breakfast is excellent. Parking on site, with electric charging at a great rate compared to public chargers.

Went away for our birthday weekend and treated ourselves to the Windermere Suites! We were not disappointed!!! Met by the wonderful Jet (Hotel Pooch!) And the VIP service never stopped! Breakfasts outstanding, room amazing, facilities stunning, service second to non! We will be back again! Thank you so much 🥰❤️
