Lovely place came here only for one night with my girlfriend and decided to add the extra valentines package which included prosecco rose petals and towels placed as Swans and hearts. Very impressed with the cleanliness and facilities. However to feed the alpacas and have wood for the log stove is behind a pay wall which I was a little disheartened for, plus check in is late and check out is early for the price. Great far outways the nit picks though.

What a fabulous area, peaceful and beautiful but not far from the centre of York. Relaxing and tranquil (especially with the hottub). Kitchen utensils provided, clean and fresh throught out the hut. The supply of fresh eggs was so thoughtful. Sitting around the firepit watching the sunset was perfect. Definitely recommended and we would visit again soon. Lovely and friendly owners!

Last week me and my partner stayed in the Cotswold shepherds hut for our anniversary, straight away we walked into the most beautiful set up and amazing views of the sheep in the field that the hut looked onto. Such a relaxing and peaceful place to stay, the hot tub was warm all day long so we could go in when we like and with the addition of been able to add resources to make a fire we really didn’t need to worry about. This family run business really thought of everything that make this stay as stress free with everything you need being available. In the morning we had the experience of meeting and feeding the alpacas, they had such character! Not to mention the chickens who come to visit us in the morning. The family that run that business were so warm and welcoming! If you’re looking for a little get away or a place to really relax I highly suggest booking here!

Went on recommendation from a family member and we were amazed how lovely it was. Only did 2 nights but the cabin is brilliant and we'll equipped and the location is beautiful. We loved it so much that we are already planning a return in spring hopefully as a base for motorbike trips out from that area. Thanks for the experience
