Location is brilliant, easy to get to and also very easy to get the park and ride bus into York City Centre. The Glamping Pods are clean, but remember to bring camping beds as the pods are empty. The whole park is very clean and maintained to a high standard. The owner was extremely pleasant and very informative about near by attractions, I would highly recommend this Camping site and will definitely be coming back.

Turned up at short notice due to being let down by another campsite. Arranged over the phone and sorted us early check-in so we could leave the other site asap, very welcoming and gave us loads of information on the site and local area. After a stressful few days this was the exact thing we needed, lovely tidy site, great pitches and a stones throw from York, with easy access via a bus. Cant recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back again after finding this gem.

Beautiful site with lots to see! The amenities are clean and easy to access. They have a stunning lake to fish and watch ducks in, bunnies galore, even some Owls being looked after. Would highly recommend the site! The staff and users are all super friendly and welcoming.

We’ve officially found our new favourite spot 😍 This place truly ticks every box for us. We can bring the dogs and kids, enjoy a full day of fishing, and relax in a beautiful, well-maintained setting. The option to book an overnight stay while still making the most of the fishing is a huge bonus. Peter was incredibly welcoming and helpful—even when we accidentally turned up a week early 🙈 The wildlife was just amazing. We were surrounded by so many ducklings coming up to say hello, and we were lucky enough to spot six deer too. Such a special place—we can’t wait to come back!
