The apartment sleeps four across two double bedrooms, with a shower room and an open-plan living space that combines kitchen, dining and seating areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views towards the walls themselves. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. A smart TV and Netflix are available in the living area. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included; heating is gas central.

Monkbar, one of York's four medieval gateways, is directly outside. York Minster stands a few hundred yards away. The city walls themselves—walkable for their full length—begin at the property's doorstep. From here, the Jorvik Viking Centre, Castle Museum and National Railway Museum are all within easy reach on foot. The Museum Gardens and Rowntree Park, both alongside the River Ouse, offer quieter corners of the city centre. Private parking for one car is available on site. No smoking is permitted inside the property.
