Oxtoby’s Downstairs

Oxtoby's Downstairs is a self-contained one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a period town house in York, opposite the city walls. Everything you need for a stay is provided: electricity and heating, wifi, bed linen and towels. The welcome pack is a nice touch, and a washing machine is available if you need it.

The living and dining room has a 32-inch smart TV and looks towards York Minster. A galley kitchen is equipped for cooking, with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and full-size fridge and freezer. The double bedroom (4ft 6in) opens onto a patio with seating, useful for a quiet moment in the city. There's a wet room with shower. Everything is on one floor with level access from the street.

The city centre is immediately outside: the medieval walls, the Shambles, independent shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. A pub is within a mile. Street parking is available at a charge. The property does not allow smoking.
