The rooms are lovely. My only pick up and it may only be for me, however having a low light main light would be beneficial for putting a child down to bed. It was full lights or no lights. The reading lights next to the bed are good however they give off quite a bit of light. That is my only downside. It wouldn't stop me staying here again. The location is fantastic. A quick walk to the city centre and not far from the train station. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. One of the best I've had. Really friendly and helpful staff. Look after our bags whilst we explored the city on our departure day.

We arrived at the hotel in the morning and wanted to leave our luggage first. The hotel staff informed us that our room had already been prepared in advance, so we were able to check in directly — it was only around 10 a.m.! The room was very comfortable with great natural lighting, and the breakfast provided had a good variety of choices. Overall, the entire stay was an excellent experience, and there was really nothing to complain about.

Beautiful weekend stay. Reception staff were wonderful. The room very comfortable and peaceful. Herbal tea and hot chocolate sachet would have been a plus. Breakfast wise there was a good choice and the hot food was well cooked. Also had a curry one evening which was great. Short walk from the station which is a big plus. I will definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at this hotel, its clean, well located, friendly staff and really quiet rooms. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and we were able to store our bags after checkout so we could look around the city which was very useful, there is also a nice bar area. We couldn't fault it!
