About York Aparthotel
Underfloor heating paired with air-conditioning is an unusual combination for a York stay, but it's standard across all eight apartments at York Aparthotel on Toft Green. The small scale keeps things personal, with 24 hour reception on hand whatever time guests arrive.
Each apartment comes with its own kitchen and en-suite bathroom, plus complimentary Wi-Fi and drinks in the room, making this a practical base for longer stays or those who prefer self-catering to room service. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, and there's outdoor seating for warmer evenings along with a spa and sauna on-site for winding down. Luggage storage is useful for guests exploring before check-in or after checkout, and on-site parking is available for a charge.
The location puts York Minster and the city's main attractions within easy reach on foot, while pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries are all close by. Those wanting to venture further afield will find golf, fishing, horse riding and cycling routes nearby, making York Aparthotel a workable base for both a city break and a more active few days in North Yorkshire.

What guests say
🏨 York Apart Hotel – York I had a very disappointing experience staying at York Apart Hotel, especially considering the price per night, which is quite expensive. When I arrived, the room was still dirty and clearly not properly cleaned after the previous guests. There were dirty glasses left inside, trash piled up, and the overall condition did not feel ready for new guests. Basic amenities were also missing. There was no soap, no shampoo, no toothbrush, no toothpaste, and even facial tissues were completely empty. There was no bottled drinking water, and the 1-liter milk that was advertised was not provided at all. This was very frustrating, as the reality did not match what was shown in the listing. The only positive point is that the apartment is wheelchair accessible, with flat access and enough space to move around comfortably. However, accessibility alone is not enough to justify the high price. I sincerely hope the management will improve their cleaning standards and service quality, and make sure what is advertised truly matches the actual experience for guests. ♿ Accessibility Checklist – York Apart Hotel ✅ Step-free entrance ♿ Wheelchair-accessible room layout ✅ Flat flooring ⚠️ Poor housekeeping standards ❌ Missing basic amenities ⚠️ Service quality needs improvement 📝 Note This hotel has good wheelchair accessibility, but service and cleanliness need serious attention. For the price paid, the experience should be much better and more professional. #GoogleLocalGuide #WalkAndSee #WheelchairAccessible #AccessibleTravel #York #HotelReview #HonestReview
