Very pleasant, efficient hosts. Ideal location, only approximately 15 minutes walk to centre of York and great having a car park. Superb cooked breakfast, lots of options, fresh produce and good selection of fruit,cereal and yogurts. Good standard of cleanliness, only a slight criticism was our room had a slight smokey smell and curtains were not a matching pair. Would highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed for two days. First, the good things were: the location is within walking distance of the train station and the city center. There were hot chocolate and chocolate powdered coffee in the room. There was also a tiny cooler. The cleanliness was enough, but I saw cobwebs on the ceilings; a more thorough cleaning might be needed. The sound insulation in the rooms was insufficient. The hotel owner was a friendly woman. Thank you.

Lovely guest house, beautiful breakfast. The staff were very polite and friendly. Great toiletries in the bathroom and the best tea/coffee tray, with added extras. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location with it being a 10min walk to York station. If you book room 3 then you can see the ROC and trains go passed too. The owner is lovely Rooms are homely. Nice touch with dvd player. Bathrooms could do with updating. I dont like that you need to preorder your breakfast when you check in. I actually didnt really enjoy my cooked breakfast anyway.
