I enjoyed staying here during a work conference. It’s a nice location right between city center and the university. I stayed after many student finished exams, so it was probably quieter than usual. It was a nice atmosphere and felt like a real UK experience instead of a chain hotel. The breakfasts are filling and the room is simple and clean. No iron or blow dryer but I didn’t need them so it was ok.

Stopped in for a pint by happenstance lovely atmosphere excellent service. 10 quid a round for 2 of us so prices aren't bad. Only down side food wasn't available however will be stopping again to try the food as we had a really nice time en route from Fulford.

We stayed here for a night and loved it. A very nice pub with a very friendly atmosphere and host. The rooms are nice and modern. A great location too. And the brekfast in the morning was extremely good.

Lovely stay at this b & b rooms small but comfortable very clean and the proprietor was a lovely man. Breakfast was to die for. Thank you so much will definitely go again
