What visitors say
Excellent tour and museum that honors these brave men (and a woman or two). We loved our tour and were struck by the strength and heroism of these highlanders. It was an honor to visit and the staff are genuinely friendly and warm. We felt like honored guests. Visit the Johnston Gardens around the corner too. Beautiful

Very well organized museum with a lot of memorabilia from the Gordon Highlanders. Tour guide was a young man who was able to relate the exhibits nicely. Staff were warm and friendly. Excellent stop if you are interested in military history from Napoleon through to today. A bit out of the way but reachable via the #11 bus from Union Street. Just beware that the buses don't run on time.

Myself and my partners family visited the museum and thoroughly enjoyed discovering the history of this famous highland regiment. John Booth (guide) told us about war in the trenches. He was pleasant, informative and very good with the children The museum was well laid out and accessible with a lovely cafe and beautiful garden with outside seating. She stressed repeatedly that we were only just in time and then proceeded to overcharge us by £23. She was also very rude to John Booth who was waiting to give us the trench tour. He was very controlled and didn’t react to her abject rudeness. The
