What diners say
We came for lunch and the food came out too fast to have felt fresh. Between the two of us, we shared the tempura prawn rolls (this was ok), chicken laksa (garlic flavour was strong but the overall flavour worked well and was hearty) and the black bean beef with rice (this was lukewarm, too sweet and just didn't have the right balance). The service was polite and friendly.

Always a great visit to Hare and Tortoise. The Gyozo was great for starter, with the Teriyaki and the Chinese Greens. Then Chicken Katsu and Chicken Chow mein for mains. And the French juice with it (apple cucumber and Kiwi.) All great, highly recommend a stop here. Very clean bathrooms too.

Said I won’t go to the same place twice to experience the most of what London has to offer, and somehow ended back there THREE TIMES! I’m obsessed with this place, amazing quality food, great and quick service, very accommodating. Really can’t recommend this place enough. Tried many dishes with friends each times and it never fails to amaze me! Personal fav is the unagi sushi taco

Had a really filling dinner here with a friend after work and we were both very satisfied with the taste of the dishes served. The place has got plenty of sushi and small plate options to choose from and the Dragon Rolls were probably our favorite dish among all. The Yuzu Soda was lovely as well☺️ We ended up paying £45pp which was definitely more than expected but we did ordered quite a lot of food, so guess it was reasonable🤔
