A friendly pub popular with the locals, can become extremely busy at weekends and bank holidays, which is no bad thing and purely an indication of the support it receives from locals. There is a meal deal offer each day, food is great value for money. Hot drinks are refillable. Staff are always friendly, the FL is clean and well looked after. There is plenty of parking and the site is next door to the Vue cinema complex. There is easy access from York ring road.

Held our little boys' 4th birthday party here. Becky & Emma were fantastic hosts - very accomodating. Good selection of food, plenty of play time for the kids and great for us as parents who got to sit back, relax and just enjoy the moment. From the booking process right through to the actual party, it was simple and straight forward process with lots of open communication. Highly recommend here for anyone looking to book a stress free party experience! Thank you Wacky!

This is a fantastic Wacky Warehouse. The staff are incredibly kind and approachable, in particular Becky - where children know her by name and happily chat away to her. With a summer pass costing c. £16 per child, I believe this is a bargain, especially due to close location to shops such as Tesco's and Aldi - a great place to run off some energy for an hour before the weekly shop. A variety of hot and cold food and drink is also available to be ordered to tables, so kids can enjoy their lunch/ dinner whilst having a play - as well as the grown ups too. I would say the site is a bit more retro/ classic wacky warehouse look and feel in comparison to other children's play areas, but the kids really enjoyed their time playing here!

We come here a lot and Becky is always super friendly and welcoming! She pretty much runs it single-handedly a lot of the time and still manages to be great with the kids, organising treasure hunts and other fun stuff for them to do. My son loves coming here, and Becky's always chatty and friendly with us parents. She goes above and beyond every time; even recognising us and crossing into the pub to tell us we could order food from this side now, which isn't usually the case during the holidays.
