Nice village pub. We arrived early for our booking, but didnt seem to be problem, as we were shown straight to our table. Friendly service. Good, tasty food with decent portions, even the kids meals were generous. Nice garden, with kids play area, though it had been raining! Welcoming atmosphere. Can recommend.

Delightful Sunday lunch with my son First visit to this place in 30 years Order taken without delay Couple of slices of Rather Fatty Roast pork, A large Carrot, a Lesser Parsnip, a couple of not terribly crispy , 'Oil rich' Roast potatoes and a fist sized rather limp Yorkshire pudding The meal was promptly & beautifully presented and delivered by very attentive, most efficient staff. Moderately Expensive at £50.20 The complimentary bottle of water and free washing up service very much appreciated. Good Atmosphere, Clean and comfortable, Underwhelming food quality Very much enjoyed. Testament to the company of my son rather than enjoyment of the meal and size of the bill.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch a few times with The White Hart in Holybourne. Great, tasty fare. Staff have gone out of their way to accommodate individual menu preferences. Also, waited hand and foot on 7 week old baby. Thank you !

The White Hart did a fantastic job of catering for our party of 13 as we celebrated a 70th birthday on the first Sunday after Christmas. The food was delivered to a high standard and there was an impressive level of variety on the menu… something for everyone! The portion sizes were generous - particularly for the starters and roast dinners - but perhaps slightly unbalanced for the meat platter. The chakalaka and polenta chips were delicious but left us wanting more! The atmosphere was cosy without feeling too cramped. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, and they accommodated our request to have a birthday cake served at the table after we had finished our mains!
