Farmhouse Cottage sits on working farmland near Belper, within reach of the Derbyshire countryside and close enough to Ashbourne for market-town restaurants and shops. Peak District walking is a short drive away, and Kedleston Hall is among several stately homes in the locality. The cottage itself has been updated throughout while keeping its original character: two bedrooms (both with king-size beds, the second convertible to singles), a ground-floor shower room, living room with woodburner, and a kitchen with electric cooking. One dog stays free of charge.
What makes a stay here concrete: there's a private hot tub in the rear garden, bed linen and towels are provided, and the essentials—heating, electricity and wi-fi—are covered. Parking for two cars is on site. The property is yours alone, and there's no smoking inside. Families with small children can request a travel cot, highchair and stairgate in advance.

Fantastic house for our family of 12, very well decorated and furnished and plenty of room. The owners have thought of everything with unusual additional features such as the bar area. The kitchen dining room was lovely for family meals and seated 12 easily. Each of the bedrooms had its own unique feel and the bathrooms were just beautiful. We made full use of the hot tub with robes and extra towels provided and sat out at night round the fire pit toasting marshmallows. It was a wonderful break, we are planning to return.

An absolutely amazing place in such beautiful surroundings, decorated to such a high standard. We have been to many cottages before but by far this has been the best, with hot tub, fire pitt, sun loungers. Both Nick and Sarah have literally thought of everything, with things that I wouldn't even have expected. The photo's honestly don't do the place justice. Definitely will be coming here again, and will highly recommend it to friends and family. Priti
