About Tyger Inn Derby

Free on-site parking is one of the more useful things Tyger Inn Derby has to offer, making it a practical stopover for anyone touring Derby and the wider Derbyshire countryside by car. The hotel sits on Ashbourne Road, with a garden and outdoor seating area giving guests somewhere to relax outside their room.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and family and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. There's a restaurant on site along with free WiFi and 24 hour reception, so arrival times and meals can be flexible. Nearby options include a pub or bar and further restaurants and eateries within easy reach.

For those wanting to get outdoors, golf, fishing and horse riding are all available in the surrounding area, alongside general entertainment options. It's a straightforward, no-frills base rather than a destination in itself, suited to travellers who mainly need a comfortable place to park up and sleep between days out.

Nice stay, for a great cost. Shower was brilliant. Great location for Peak District. Service was brilliant, we lost a ring and the owner came out to do everything to retrieve, extremely grateful. Room was clean and fresh. Bed was comfy.

I don’t get why people complain given the pricing of this place. I used it as a stopover for Alton Towers which is about 35 minutes away. The rooms are large and have the basics. It’s more of a US motel style accommodation. There is room for improvement but then the prices would definitely need to go up. If you want better pay double and you will get it. Don’t expect champagne on lemonade money,
