Apartment Sea View is a second-floor self-catering flat overlooking the Firth of Clyde near Dunoon. Walk in and you find an open-plan living space that combines lounge, dining and kitchen areas, with large bay windows on three sides flooding the flat with light. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—electric oven, gas hob, microwave. One bedroom holds a double bed (4ft 6in) accessible from one side only; the other has a single (3ft) and a pull-out single bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. Both have wall-mounted TVs. The bathroom includes a bath with shower over and, unusually, its own wall-mounted TV.

The flat is self-contained, with your own entrance via a shared external stone staircase. Essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. Washing machine and tumble dryer sit in a hall cupboard. On-street parking is available. The outlook matters here: from your windows you can watch ferries and yachts, spot swans and grey seals, and on good days glimpse dolphins. No smoking throughout. Dunoon is roughly two hours from Glasgow; if you're travelling by public transport, pick-up from the ferry can be arranged.
