Through the entrance to Loch View Lodge, you step into a light, open-plan ground floor where the living space flows into the dining and kitchen areas. Full-length windows frame views across the water. A wood burner anchors the sitting room, and the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine for self-catering. There's a shower room on this level too.
Upstairs, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom sleep four guests between them. The double has its own ensuite (also accessible from the landing), and the twin uses a second bathroom reached via the hallway. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with logs for the wood burner. The large deck outside, furnished and overlooking the loch, is where you can spend time when the weather allows.
Loch View Lodge sits in Hunters Quay Holiday Park, just outside Dunoon on the Argyll coast. There is private parking for two cars on site. No smoking is permitted inside. The location gives easy access to the Scottish Highlands, but the lodge itself is quiet enough for a genuine break.
