Vue Carlisle is very conveniently located, the ticket prices are reasonable, and the staff are always friendly. Unfortunately, the cinema is long overdue some deep cleaning and a refurbishment though. This was my seat on the back row of Screen 4 (a filthy carpet and a stained seat).

First date night in ages to see the oddysey. Sound seemed off, too loud at parts and crackly where you couldnt tell what they were saying. Also im disappointed after seeing the popcorn getting refilled. I always thought they made it fresh. Nope! Right out of a bag and warmed. Shattered my concept of the popcorn now for ever!!

It's was nice, watched Super Mario. I just felt the adverts were too much for a kids movie, as my little one was already getting fed up with the too many adverts, most of them being adult rated 18 movies. It would be nice to limit the adverts for kids movies. Asides that the staff were okay, movie area was clean.

Comfy clean seats with lots of legroom, even for the regular ones. Screen 3 seems to have no technical issues as some other reviews have complained about. I do think the sound was too loud though, and I don't have the best hearing normally. The food is sooo expensive and definitely not worth the price - pic n mix seems like a good deal on the surface but the sweets were so stale!! I wonder how long they have been sitting there in the tubs 🤢 Staff were non existent other than to charge the £18 for 2 drinks & 2 small boxes of sweets. Purchased tickets online but no one was there to check them! All in all it was okay, we need to keep the cinema alive, but how can you justify these prices with such bad quality?
