About Eight
A coffee machine and homemade biscuits in every room set the tone at Eight, a hotel tucked down North Parade Passage in the heart of Bath. It's a compact, stylish base just off the city's main streets, with the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey both within easy walking distance.
Rooms are kept spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms, drinks provided, and family rooms available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi runs throughout, and a 24 hour reception means arrivals and queries are never a problem. Breakfast is a particular strength, with guests able to start the day well before heading out to explore. On-site parking is also available, useful given the hotel's central position.
The surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists, with plenty of pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries nearby for evenings out, and entertainment options close by too. Those wanting to venture further afield will find golf, fishing and watersports all within reach. Staff are consistently described as warm and accommodating, adding to the sense of a well-run, personable stay in one of Bath's most walkable spots.
What guests say
Such a lovely little independent townhouse hotel. The location is 10/10, it was spotlessly clean, and had so much charm. The staff were warm and friendly, which made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. This place really is a hidden gem. If you're thinking of staying here, don't hesitate! You won't be disappointed. We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Top tip: Book directly through the hotel's website for the best rates and special offers !

This hotel fits perfectly with Bath charming atmosphere. Friendly staff ready to accommodate guests and make them feel welcome. They exceed expectations with little treats I will leave to you to discover. Our room was just a perfect size with a comfortable bad and two pillows. Amazing shower! It’s central so location is perfect for visiting Bath, unfortunately due to being so central it can be hard to get your Beaty sleep, you can hear people walking home after a night out and early starters with their morning duties, it’s not too bad, we slept well anyway. There is a lovely honesty bar in the basement if you don’t fancy a busy night out. In conclusion, this is a 5 stars hotel with a 5 stars staff. Thank you for spoiling us 😊

Five stars, from us! From a very warm welcome to immaculately clean room. What a great find, we were only there for the night, but can't fault the place. Location is off a quite square right in the City centre. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast or honesty bar, so we'll definitely be back.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights a few weeks ago. I cannot fault this hotel, the location was PERFECT! The room had such a homely feel and had the biggest and comfiest bed. We had a free upgrade which was such a lovely surprise. Good option of tea, coffee and sweet treats in the room as well. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Bath!
