About Parade Park Bath

Bath's centre is built for walking, with its Georgian streets leading down toward the River Avon and Pulteney Bridge, where a nearby garden of floral displays, sculptures and quiet seating offers a good spot to pause. Parade Park Bath makes the most of this position, standing on North Parade within easy reach of the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey.

The hotel has 38 rooms, including family options, all with en-suite bathrooms and the usual comforts of free WiFi, room service and in-room drinks. Guests can start the day with breakfast on site, and there's a bar for something later, along with luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. There is no parking at the property, so visitors arriving by car should plan accordingly.

Beyond the front door, Bath's mix of restaurants, pubs and cafes is close at hand, and the surrounding area suits those keen on walking or cycling, with golf and fishing also within reach. The riverside gardens nearby remain a popular spot for a quiet break between sightseeing, particularly for the views towards Pulteney Bridge.

Impeccably maintained gardens in a central riverside location by the Avon, with excellent views of the famous Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey. Parade Gardens were created in 1709, designed to appeal to spa visitors in the period. They remain a very appealing place to visit, with a host of interesting features, including statues, colonnades, and an elegant bandstand, which hosts regular performances. There's plenty of seating, shady areas beneath trees, and some detailed information boards providing background and history, so you can learn about the gardens while visiting. Parade Gardens are within a 15 minute walk of the railway station, and tourist buses stop very nearby. Don't miss this beautiful part of Bath, just be aware it can get busy so arrive early in the morning for a quieter visit.

Lovely park and gardens just on the riverfront on what used to be a the nearby abbey's orchard gardens. Spectacular views of Pulteney Bridge and the river Avon, which on my visit was overcast, but would be even more impressive on a sunny day. Photos do not do it justice either so you would be best served by visiting yourself. We visited in the morning, before shops opened which was very peaceful with only a few other couples around.

I had an amazing time at Parade Gardens in Bath! The entry was completely free, and the views were absolutely stunning. The park is filled with an array of cool sculptures and statues that make the whole place even more interesting. The scenery around the gardens, coupled with the beautiful architecture of Bath, really takes your breath away. Plus, it’s incredibly clean with no litter in sight – perfect for a peaceful and relaxing visit. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!
