Lovely little local independent hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in a standard double room. Very clean although our room was starting to look a bit tired. The bed and pillows were very comfy and we had 2 good nights sleep. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming and attentive to us and other customers that we saw. Would recommend to stay here and would stay again

We booked a three day stay via Booking.com and were very happy and excited. Suddenly, 4 days before the visit it got cancelled. We tried to call them, nobody answered and after we finally got through the person on the phone wasn’t helpful at all and very rude. We were just trying to solve the problem and wanted to ask why they’d cancelled our booking. We are very disappointed and after that encounter on the phone, in the end happy to not stay at his hotel.

Hotel is situated 20 mins walk from bath down a hill. Hotel itself is very outdated and water pressure poor. This needs major makeover. Mattress were very lumpy and hard and not comfortable. As well that our neighbours mattress was squeaky. Outdated tourist information in the foyer and only a few local flyers . Only benefit was the parking and staff on site were helpful with giving some recommendations on where to eat in the area

Beautiful view from hotel room with balcony. Nice breakfast but could have more options such as croissants, fruits, vegetables. Great location near Bloomfield park and Alexandra park (walking distance), but 20 mins walk from city centre and bus station.
