A two part review: Part 1: the cinema. In an era where big chains are rife, it’s extremely refreshing to go to a cinema beautifully preserved in time. Walking in, brings instant nostalgia to my childhood excitement of stepping foot in a cinema for the first time. The modest, 2 screen cinema has everything you could ever need, with very helpful and friendly staff. Part 2: our little wedding! When we got engaged last August, we were thrilled to learn that you can get married at the little theatre! The charming venue already a favourite spot for us, the idea of having our little wedding here was very exciting. From initial enquiry to wedding day, the whole process was well organised, low stress and extremely well managed. Martha is a superstar. She dealt with our wedding throughout and ensured we have everything we needed and nothing was too much to ask for her. This place is incredibly special to us and will forever be a part of our lives! A huge thank you to everyone at the little theatre, especially Martha. You bought our special day to life ❤️.

Visited with my girlfriend as part of a 3 day birthday weekend. We found this place by happenstance having just left The Thermae Bath Spa. I saw a small cinema and walked over, hoping for retro reruns & the like. I was spell bound to see a 40th anniversary restoration of the Talking Heads live concert "Stop Making Sense". We quickly went inside & made our booking for the evening. Upon arrival for the showing my lady bought Malteasers and we headed upstairs. We were the sole occupants on the upper balcony and it's myriad sofas. Admittedly this places you very far from the screen at a canted angle so this it to held front of mind when booking. We had a great time & enjoyed our evening at Little Theatre. Looking around the posters in the foyer & staircase there seems to be a run of interesting old reruns to be had in the future. We didn't see the 2nd screen or any of the other facilities so cannot comment.

A really great little place in bath I love cinema and a regular cinemagoer I have never been here before but it came up when I was looking for a film which didn't seem to be anywhere else or at least at a decent time so I thought what a great opportunity to give this place a try I really enjoyed it I loved the original feel to the place one downside I found was the place smelt strong of cigarette smoke to the point that even when I got home it was like I could smell it on me I'm not sure if it was from before smoking ban and it's adsorbed on to the building or wether people are smoking near by and it's getting in I'm not sure but still a really great little place hidden in centre of bath that's worth a visit

What a fantastic place to watch a film, it's great to have an alternative to the omnipresent multiplexes. It's a tiny cinema with two screens, a small ticket office and snack bar. Screen one also features a restored balcony with comfy sofas. Dating from 1935 it's a real piece of cinema history.
