⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem in the heart of Snowdonia – one of the best B&B experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed by Martin, Pippa and Marian. Their warmth, kindness and hospitality immediately made me feel at home, and it quickly became clear that they truly care about every guest’s experience. A special thank you to Martin, who was incredibly generous with his local knowledge. His recommendations on places to visit, scenic drives and things to do around North Wales helped shape my itinerary and allowed me to discover some truly spectacular parts of this beautiful region. It felt like having a knowledgeable local friend rather than just a host. The room itself was spotless, beautifully maintained and exceptionally comfortable. After a full day hiking Snowdon, sinking into the bed was absolute bliss. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered—from the boot and shoe tray for muddy hiking gear, to the cleaning kit, electric fan, complimentary biscuits, tea and coffee. These small touches made a huge difference and showed just how much care goes into looking after guests. The location is also perfect for exploring Eryri (Snowdonia), whether you’re hiking, driving through the mountains, or simply enjoying the incredible scenery. I’ve stayed in many hotels and B&Bs over the years, but Aberconwy House genuinely stands out for its exceptional hospitality. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a place where you’re made to feel welcome, cared for and valued. If you’re planning a trip to North Wales, do yourself a favour and stay here. You won’t just leave with wonderful memories of Wales—you’ll leave grateful that you chose Aberconwy House. Thank you, Martin, Pippa and Marian, for making my stay so memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and I’ll be recommending Aberconwy House to anyone visiting this part of the world.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aberconwy House. Martin, Pippa and Marion were so friendly and hospitable, full of helpful tips and good humour. The breakfasts were delicious (and I feel every hike now needs a vegan Welsh cake or two!) and I'd encourage everyone to try the homemade vegan bangers - yum! Great location close to the main hub of Betws-y-Coed (it'll be an even quicker walk when the bridge rebuild is finished soon) and the room was really big - enormous bathroom - with quality linens and towels, and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy too! If we're ever back in Wales, we'll be staying here again.

We stayed with Martin and Pipa (Aberconwy House) for 3 days, and what a fantastic discovery! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The rooms are beautiful, nicely decorated, fully equipped, and the bedding is top quality! As for the breakfast, it was simple(several options), delicious, and effective, with lovely extra touches (like a slice of cake) to enjoy if you get a bit peckish during the day. Martin and Pipa are generous, attentive, and give great advice. It’s so easy to spend a few minutes chatting with them about anything and everything. We will definitely be returning to North Wales / Snowdonia Park, and when we do, we will certainly stay with Martin and Pipa again. A thousand thanks, and see you soon, either in Wales or in France!
