About Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street

A hearty breakfast buffet is included at Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street, with a good spread of hot and cold options and a waffle maker that regularly gets singled out by guests. There's also a bar on-site for an evening drink, along with a restaurant and snack bar, so there's no need to head out unless you want to.

The hotel has 285 rooms across 19 floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi, plus family and accessible room options for those who need them. Some rooms show their wear, so don't expect everything to be pristine, but the practicalities are covered with a lift, laundry service, luggage storage and drinks available in-room. A gym is on-site for anyone keeping to a routine, and meeting rooms and business services suit those travelling for work.

Set on Broad Street, the hotel puts guests close to the canalside dining and bars that the area is known for, with pubs, restaurants and eateries all nearby, and it's a convenient base for events and attractions around the city centre. Chargeable on-site parking is available for those arriving by car.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location. Exactly what we expected, very pleasant clean room good size, bathroom and linens all good. Breakfast was good with lots of choice the dining area was nice with lots of space. Parking was expensive but lots of multi storey parking close to the hotel for half the price.

Great hotel, adjacent to many restaurants and bars, and a one minute walk to the cinema. Really easy to get to, and if you have luggage or are tired the tram stop is directly outside the station then it's only about five stops away. The hotel feels fresh and clean and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall a good stay and would stay again but a few notable things - • No car park, but a car park right round the corner (Northwood Street Car Park), although it doesn’t feel the most secure. 24 hours was £8 which is better than you’d get at any actual hotel parking. • Digital key does not work in lifts, had to get a physical key so never tried it at the actual door. Did try to save time by setting up the digital key in the car but ended up saving no time. • Not enough room for travel cot in the room, it was very difficult to get around the room with the cot there. • Rang for room service but they said it wasn’t available and we had to go downstairs and get the food. We ordered a kids meal for our three year old, which had clearly been microwaved as the bun was solid on top and wet on the bottom. • the side of the travel cot was collapsed when we arrived and then continued to collapse multiple times throughout the night which was a bit annoying but not an issue when the baby was asleep. Good things - • next to a 24 hour convenience shop and a dominos so everything you need is right there. Also a few more bars/cafes within close walking distance for the daytime. • lounge area with lots of tvs and a bar • free WiFi and air conditioning in room • mattress with travel cot which meant a comfier sleep as the travel cot mattresses are usually solid • city centre is walkable distance away • staff are kind and helpful when you ask them for help

Stayed for 4 nights over 2 stays with work. Service was great couldn't fault it at all. Room very basic although towels were clean everyday I did notice that one hand towel and 1 body towel were very well used could probably get rid of these ones. Location very good just on the edge of pubs clubs etc, rooms extremely quite, rooms also nice and cool room Temp was set (could be changed) to a lovely 18° All in all a pleasant place would stay again.
