About Premier Inn Birmingham NEC Airport
Each of the 247 rooms at Premier Inn Birmingham NEC Airport comes with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi, along with drinks in the room for settling in after a long journey. Rooms are spread across four floors served by a lift, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them, making this a straightforward, comfortable base rather than a destination in itself.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar offering a decent range of food and drink options, plus breakfast to set guests up for the day. The hotel also has meeting rooms, an electric vehicle charge point, 24 hour reception and luggage storage, all useful for business trippers and early flyers alike. On-site parking is available via barrier access, though it's chargeable and paid at reception on exit, which is worth budgeting for rather than assuming is included.
The location is the main draw: the NEC and Resorts World are close by, and Birmingham Airport is within easy reach, making this a practical choice before a flight or event. For those with time to spare, there's also golf, fishing and horse riding nearby, along with a scattering of pubs and restaurants for evenings out.
What guests say
Stayed here for the UK Games Expo at the NEC. It was only about a 20 minute walk when we worked out the route. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, room was a decent size and clean upon arrival. Car park has lots of space, was £15 for 24 hours and paid when leaving. The Lounge restaurant had a good selection of food for a reasonable price for dinner. Breakfast had your standard cooked breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans and black pudding. You also had pastries, toast, cereals, yoghurt and fruit available. Overall very good and would stay again

Rooms were clean and functional. Booked a family room and there was enough space for 4. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice and hot. We didn't need to reserve a time slot, we turned up at 0845 and was seated straight away. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Allowed us to take a takeaway into the bar as long as we bought drinks. (The restaurant had closed). We were a very large booking (taking part in the Tattoo) and had a mixture of adults and children with us. The daytime reception team seemed to spend a lot of time checking up on us, particularly during breakfast, which was noted by more than one member of our group, and was completely unnecessary as everyone in our group behaved impeccably throughout our stay. Note - if you're staying here and using the arena, it's a 35 minute walk. Not 20 mins.

Really enjoyed our stay for one night. I can't comment on the noise as I wear ear plugs but apparently the husband slept like a log. The room was clean and tidy. Definitely recommend breakfast. Though because of the location parking isn't free, but it is cheaper for guests.

Took one star off the location because inexplicably, there's no pedestrian route to the NEC - you have to walk on busy roads, roundabouts and grass verges! However, the hotel itself is amazing - the best Premier Inn I've stayed at. Tidy, large room that everything worked in!, great restaurant vibe, and fabulous cooked breakfast, lovely staff - even a robot waitress!
