I stayed at St. Paul’s house on the night of our wedding and I also had a wedding package with St. Paul’s in the function part. I honestly have no words I was blown away when we stepped into our venue as newly weds! The attention to detail and the exceptional customer service from Paula,Barry and Jodie was above and beyond! They were also attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our night, they had great communication with one another when a staff member had to leave for another venue we were passed over and still taken great care of! I really recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding or even a spot of lunch or evening drink as it’s one of favorite places to visit! I’d give it 10 stars if I could amazing work!

We didn't stay overnight. But have been going to the restaurant area for coffee and food while waiting for our son to do his GCSE'S around the corner. The Staff were polite, friendly and so very welcoming. It is a beautiful venue with a lovely atmosphere. Food etc is gorgeous too. Thank you to all Staff.

I'm conflicted about whether to be honest in this review... If I say how brilliant St Paul's House is considering its price and location is it going to be more expensive or have less availability the next time I need to stay? The location is convenient, the food was superb, the beer was good and the staff were ALL supremely helpful and friendly. I literally can't think of a downside, other than that the single glazed windows didn't keep the noise of the recycling lorry out much one morning... but it's an old building and the windows are lovely. A colleague had a room to the rear and the car park is much less picturesque than the front view and her windows were rather dirty, but if your room is at the front you can't fault this place in any way really.

A lovely hotel and extremely well located for anyone going to the Jam House. It’s a stone’s throw away. Some great things - - Lovely bar/restaurant area. - Pretty looking hotel - Iron and ironing board in the room - Bath robes in the rooms - Small bottles of complimentary sparkling wine and an orange juice in the fridge in the room Things to note - - All beds are standard doubles, no option to upgrade to a king size bed. Doubles are fine but it’s nice to have a bit more room when staying away for a night - Breakfast - disappointing. If you book on booking or one of the other sites and it does allow you to include breakfast (which we did), note that this is just continental and very limited continental. Disappointing when getting to the hotel to find this doesn’t include a hot breakfast. If you want to upgrade you need to ask them and pay the extra. The continental choices were very minimal. Only two choices of pastry on display. Only Kellogg boxed cereal, no muesli, granola etc. Only yogurts were 3 displayed and no greek yoghurt. Not many juices on display. However you can request toast and that was very nice as was the cappachino. This can definitely be improved to make people staying feel that there is a bit of choice. We came down around 9.30/10 and they serve until 11. Hopefully the hotel will be able to sort out the issue on the third party sites because the cost for the night does increase having to add on extra to the breakfast and then £21 for the car park. Lovely staff too
