About Glangwdi Glamping
Tucked into beautiful woodland with the Brecon Beacons as a backdrop, this tiny family-run site offers a handful of bell tents and pods in a wonderfully peaceful setting. Kids can roam free among the trees while parents relax, and there's a communal camping kitchen for added convenience. The farm is home to pygmy goats, chickens and ducks, and the on-site Greedy Goat eatery serves fresh pizzas, waffles and ice cream – perfect for evenings when you don't fancy cooking over one of the firepits.
Host Katy is welcoming and helpful, making guests feel instantly at home. The location is ideal for tackling Pen-y-Fan (twenty minutes away) or gentler woodland walks, and adventurous types can arrange alpaca trekking, gorge walking, canoeing or mountain biking nearby. Brecon itself is a five-minute drive for pubs and shops. Note that pets aren't permitted, so this one's best for animal-free holidays.

Woodland Park Glamping was exactly what we were looking for. The beautiful wooded grounds feel wonderfully secluded, with endless little spots for kids to explore and enjoy. Katy and James were fantastic hosts—they took the time to show our children the resident toads and even a bat, which absolutely made their trip. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Woodland Park Glamping. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, kind, and attentive, providing excellent recommendations on local attractions, activities, places where to eat and suggestions for the hikes. The Woodland Park place is incredibly peaceful and lovely area. All the cabins are surrounded by forest allowing for a truly immersive and tranquil nature experience. The are also features a charming small pond, which adds to the overall beauty and serenity of the place. The cleanliness was outstanding — without a doubt one of the cleanest accommodations we have stayed in. The cabin was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and cooking, creating a warm and homely atmosphere throughout our visit. We will most certainly be returning and highly recommend Woodland Park Glamping to anyone seeking a relaxing, unique, and high-quality getaway.

We have just returned from Cherry Lodge. We found this after looking for somewhere for quite a while and nearly settled on somewhere else. We were lucky to find this gem of a place! The cleanliness of the lodge really stood out to us. It was absolutely spotless when we got there. Katy met us on site and was very friendly and informative even though we had her out late on a Friday. It was freezing during the weekend we went but as long as you can light and look after the fire you will be well away, we almost had to open the windows because it was so warm in there! It feels amazing to be truly off grid and makes you feel closer to nature and I can’t recommend this place enough. We will 100% go back and we are glad we have found the place!

Have just come home from a 2 night stay in one of their cabins, Cherry Lodge and I cannot recommend it enough. The owners, James and Katy are lovely, the cabins are compact, bijou and fabulous and the surrounding woodland is so peaceful - I was woken up both mornings by the sound of the resident woodpecker. I could have stayed permanently and will definitely be going back! Absolutely amazing place.
