What visitors say
We saw Nick Cave and the Flaming Lips plus others. The bands were amazin; the sound was great and timings were tight. However the organisers should have allowed entry earlier as we missed half the first gig due to excessive queues. It was hard to locate water refilling stations too. For such a large crowd it was not the best venue as the stage was in a fairly narrow part of the park so it was difficult to get a good spot. Although I loved seeing Nick Cave and I get the Brighton connection, I won't be travelling there again for a big gig given the layout of the site and the cost and difficulty we had in booking accommodation even booking 8 months in advance.

Very Gentle and wonderful place. If you are a nature lover, definitely you will fall in love. It's wide natural view make the environment calm and relaxing. Natural grass and big tress makes the environment more breathing. There is some play ground you can practice...

I had a lovely stroll across this park during an early afternoon in the winter, covered in rich trees with green and yellow leaves! Some have a larger width than others and the plants alongside the courts are pretty, much grass can be walked through to the uphill side of the park. The architecture is nice with the clock monument, miniature hut and three-window cafe building behind sloped stairs!

Fantastic place to bring the children nice long walks and just across the road there's a rock garden that the little ones can have an adventure going up and down the rock path. There's a sandy area with swings and slides and a few cafes on site what more do you need for a great day out
