About Staybridge Suites Brighton by IHG

Fleet Street sits close to Brighton's station, with the seafront and the city's shops and eateries within easy walking distance, making Staybridge Suites Brighton a practical base for exploring on foot. The hotel occupies a seven-storey building with a lift serving all floors, and it's set up specifically for adults wanting a bit more space and independence than a standard hotel room offers.

The 101 rooms come with kitchenettes, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, and are generally spacious and well kept, with comfortable beds throughout. Accessible rooms are available, and breakfast is served on-site for those who'd rather not cook. Beyond the rooms, guests have use of a gym, a games room, laundry service, luggage storage and business facilities, with concierge staff on hand to help with local recommendations or logistics. Restaurants and eateries nearby offer further options when guests do want to eat out, and pets are welcome for those travelling with animals.

Staff are consistently helpful and efficient, smoothing over the practical side of a longer stay. With the station and city centre so close, it works equally well for a short break or an extended visit, with the seafront a walkable stretch away for anyone wanting sea air after a day out.

My partner and I booked the hotel for the first time as we came down to Brighton for the weekend. We arrived a bit early and not only did Arianna and Elena receive us well and let us check in, we were also upgraded. Our stay was incredible, the room was cozy and had everything we needed. It was sparkling clean so lots of thanks to the housekeeping team (I don’t know the names otherwise I would have mentioned. The hotel is super close to the station and central which is handy. We had breakfast as well at the was lovely. The staff are wonderful (Arianna and Elena) from how we were received and acknowledged as members, the staff that were working during breakfast and I am sure the whole team is as dedicated and kind. I would be returning again with my partner, it couldn’t have been a better experience.

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary this weekend and had the best experience. We were greeted by Ryan on reception who did everything and more for us to make our day/weekend special. The room was immaculate and a very short walk into the city centre. We are definitely staying here again, in fact we are booking our next stay here tonight. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially Ryan. If we could give you a raise ourselves, we would. From AJ and Connor :)

Location was very good, very close to the train station. We had some issues, such as the WiFi not working, but the staff were very friendly and helpful and changed our room. Maintenance could be improved in general, as there were a few things that needed attention. The shower head was full of limescale, which resulted in very low water pressure. We informed reception, and the same day the shower head was replaced. Breakfast was very good for its category, with some hot options and fresh yoghurt and fruit.

The hotel was very pleasant, and the reception staff were kind and efficient, checking us in within minutes. The room has kitchenette. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, offering a variety similar to a traditional English breakfast, along with croissants, pain au chocolat, and drinks. We were a bit disappointed that dental kits were not provided, as they are usually offered at IHG hotels. The only area for improvement was room service. While towels were replaced, the bed wasn’t made, and coffee and tea weren’t restocked. A more thorough room refresh would enhance the guest experience. The location is excellent, just five minutes from the train station, with a nearby lift making it easy to manage luggage.
