About Urban House & Retreat Spa
Urban House & Retreat Spa suits visitors after a straightforward city break rather than a countryside escape, with 31 rooms set on New Steine, close to Brighton's seafront and the buzz of the town centre. It works well for couples, groups of friends or anyone keen to be near the action without paying central London prices for the privilege.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast service, so there's no need to head out first thing if you don't fancy it. Free WiFi and luggage storage are useful for those coming and going during a short stay, and meeting rooms are available for anyone combining business with pleasure. Free on-site parking is a genuine bonus in a city where street parking can be a headache.
New Steine puts guests within walking distance of both the coast and Brighton's shops, restaurants and nightlife, making the hotel a practical base for exploring on foot. It suits those who want somewhere central to return to after a day by the sea or out in the Lanes.
