La Nonna - Pasta Fresca

Had such a lovely dinner at La Nonna Pasta Fresca. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and you can tell they take their pasta seriously. We started with the arancini, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy inside. The sauces alongside were great for dipping and added a nice flavour contrast. For the main, I had the pappardelle with slow-cooked ragu, which was absolutely delicious. The pasta tasted freshly made with the perfect texture, and the ragu was rich, comforting, and full of flavour. For dessert, we shared the pistachio cake with pistachio ice cream, which was the perfect way to finish the meal, beautifully balanced and not overly sweet. A special mention to Melina, our server, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Her service really stood out and made us feel well looked after. Would definitely come back again!

We visited La Nonna in search of an Italian restaurant in Brixton that offers a pasta selection and found a lovely restaurant with exceptionally fast service and high quality pasta, we ordered the arrabbiata and the carbonara and they were both lovely with perfect portion sizes and weren’t too expensive. We also heard that the tiramisu was to die for and we 100% agree. We had an amazing experience and will definitely come back in the future if we’re ever back in Brixton. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

A delicious meal every time we visit! Their Carbonara is to die for (authentic and so tasty every time). The service is also really good and the staff are always friendly and efficient. Do recommend if you fancy a nice bit of pasta! Be warned the restaurant is small so would reccommend booking before coming as it's popular!

Everything from the bread to the pasta was incredible. We got the carbonara and the ragù, both were amazing and would definitely recommend. Not a fan of the tiramisu, 😅 I feel like it didn’t match up to the rest but honestly would come here just for the pasta anyway!!!! Will definitely be coming back and you should too!
