Took my mother here, as for our first visit, it exceeded our expectations! The restaurant is cosy and has a modern aesthetic, and the service was really welcoming and attentive. The highlight however is definitely the food and menu curated by Ray! We knew a base line of what to expect, but my mother and I were truly impressed by the freshness and depth of flavour of the food! We went for the jerk chicken wings and fried calamari for starters and we were dancing with each bite, then followed by the generous fish and seafood platter. We really enjoyed the spices and aromatics added to the dishes, paired with the fresh dumplings it all came together perfectly. I definitely recommend for a date night, or family meal, but even on a solo meal you’ll definitely enjoy the food!

This place has officially earned a permanent spot on my culinary map every single time I’m in the city. ​The food here is nothing short of outstanding. Every dish is packed with a vibrant Caribbean flair that truly speaks to your soul. While the restaurant itself is small and intimate, the size only adds to its incredible charm. The cozy atmosphere immediately sparked feelings of being right at home, gathering around the table with family for a nightly dinner. It is warm, welcoming, and bursting with flavor. ​Last, but definitely not least, I have to praise a very special employee named Jennifer. Her outstanding professionalism and top-tier customer service truly elevated our entire evening. ​My group had a ton of questions throughout the night, and Jennifer made it a point to answer every single one promptly and with a smile. When a minor issue presented itself, she handled it flawlessly, making us feel completely taken care of and right at home. She was incredibly attentive and never allowed us to feel like she wasn’t right there to assist us in all matters. ​Amazing food, an intimate family vibe, and world-class service. Really enjoyed my meal here, the food was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef! I’ve definitely never had a roast this good. I did the roast set menu which comes with 2 mains, a dessert and a drink. I had the plantain cake and didn’t have time for pics because it was too damn good! The restaurant is a little small but the service is great and it was clean.

Unassuming gem in Brixton! I felt like I was at home! The food, the service, the atmosphere was 10/10! We went on a Sunday and had the Sunday roast - my God! So much delicious food! We spoke with the owner/cook to let him know that was, by far, the best meal we had while visiting London. I will go back just for this!
