Lucky Duck Cottage

Coltishall sits on the River Bure in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, where day boats can be hired and the waterways are thick with birds and wildlife. The village green runs alongside the river with mooring available (first come, first served), and the riverbanks offer seasonal fishing if you have a licence. Wroxham, the Broads' main hub for boat hire and riverside cafés, is four miles away; closer still are Wroxham Barns with craft studios, a farm park and children's play area, plus the Bure Valley Steam Railway with a stop in Coltishall itself.

Lucky Duck is a ground-floor cottage sleeping four in two bedrooms—one double with ensuite bath and shower, one with twin singles and a separate shower room. The living space is open plan, with a kitchen fitted for proper cooking (electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher), dining area and Smart TV. An enclosed front garden with terrace and seating faces the duck pond. Parking for two cars is on site. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; one dog stays free and gets welcome treats. No smoking throughout.

The village has four inns and restaurants, Chinese and Indian takeaways, a fish and chip shop, a tea room, general store and a fine dining venue. Waterside pubs with beer gardens line the river, ideal for watching the constant traffic of boats and activity on the water.
