The Farmhouse

Rackheath village sits between Norwich and the Norfolk coast, putting you within reach of both the Broads and beach days without the crush of the seaside towns. The Farmhouse occupies a quiet spot on the edge of the industrial estate, near the village hall, but the setting opens onto countryside and accessible walks from the property itself.

The house sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite shower on the ground floor, a super kingsize on the first floor, two singles also on the first floor, and a double on the second floor. Downstairs you have two reception rooms (one with a wood burner and French doors to the garden decking), a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob and range, a separate utility room with washing machine, and a cloakroom. Upstairs is one bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Oil heating and electricity are included, along with bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi; initial fuel for the wood burner comes with the booking. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking from scratch. There is private parking for four cars on site.

The back garden has seating areas and a barbecue. The property accepts one dog. It is non-smoking throughout. Some areas have steps—two in the garden, and one step into two of the bedrooms on the first floor—so mobility may be a consideration. A travel cot, highchair, stairgate and fireguard are available if needed.
