What visitors say
Really great beginner session with the family! Just visited here with my partner and his kids. We have all never surfed before and were a bit apprehensive however the instructors made us all feel so safe and confident! They were great at encouraging us all and teaching us the basics to start catching our own waves. Our 10 year old said they made him feel like a professional and he stood and caught his first wave all the way into the shore on his first try with their help. We would absolutely come again and reccomend to others. 😁

Had my 1st ever surfing lesson with my girlfriend yesterday and it was absolutely brilliant. The full venue is stunning and so incredible well done. The staff are very helpful and everything just feels like you are in a top star venue. We had our session with Finn he was brilliant, helpfull and encouraging. I honestly cant reccommend this enough. You will defo gain so much confidence and skill and have lots of fun on the top of it. Cant wait to go back for more sessions ;)))

We had an excellent beginner surfing lesson with Beth today. It was a brilliant family day out and perfect adults and children. The setting is great with lots of helpful staff. Changing and wetsuit loan areas are well organised and clean and we enjoyed some hot drinks on the cafe afterwards. The lesson was well structured and fun and we all felt confident and safe in the water.

Lost Shore is a truly exceptional facility, but what makes it special is the people. The waves and facilities are world class, but it's the coaching, professionalism and welcoming atmosphere that make every visit such a great experience. Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced surfer, there's a genuine feeling that everyone wants you to enjoy your time in the water and improve. What stands out most is the culture throughout the whole team. Every member of staff I've met has been friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping people get the very best from their sessions. I'd particularly like to thank Lee, Jono, Craig, Adam and Keirnan. Their coaching, encouragement, enthusiasm and generosity with their time have made a real difference to my surfing and to my enjoyment of every visit. They lead by example and create an environment where learning, progression and having fun are all equally important. Lost Shore has created something very special. It's far more than an incredible wave pool; it's a place built around passionate people who genuinely care about helping others enjoy surfing. I couldn't recommend it more highly. .
