About Travelodge Edinburgh Airport Ratho Station

With Edinburgh Airport and the M9 close by, and the city centre within easy reach, Travelodge Edinburgh Airport Ratho Station makes a practical base whether you're flying out early or heading into town to explore. A golf course, pubs, restaurants and other entertainment can also be found nearby, and there's a subway connection close to the hotel too.

The hotel itself has 97 rooms spread across four floors, all with en-suite bathrooms and some accessible rooms available. Rooms come with fans and charging points, and drinks are available in-room. A lift serves all floors, and free on-site parking is offered, though it's allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and isn't intended for those parking to fly. Pets are welcome, which suits travellers on the move with animals in tow.

On-site, there's a restaurant and bar serving breakfast and dinner, with staff generally noted as friendly and helpful. Rooms are kept clean and comfortable, though some guests have found the walls on the thin side. For a straightforward, well-located stopover near the airport and motorway network, it does the job without fuss.

I had a wonderful experience at the Travelodge Edinburgh. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless very clean and tidy throughout my stay. I especially loved the view; watching the planes land at the airport and seeing the motorway was a highlight. Despite being near the road, the hotel was surprisingly cool and silent, making it a very peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended!

Basic room, dusty and smelly, doesn’t reflect the high price. Rooms facing the road/airport are noisy. You can hear the cars passing under the window and the airplanes taking off or landing. For 160€ you don’t even get free wifi or breakfast. They just want to get more money out of you. The only good thing is the airport proximity.

Stayed on the first night of our trip. Very close to the airport with good parking facilities. Room was a decent size and bed was comfortable. Surprisingly there was little in the way of noise considering how close we were to the airport. All you really want when travelling is somewhere you can get a good night's sleep and this hotel delivered that. Set us up nicely for a week of driving around Scotland and enjoying the beautiful scenery. A good start to a wonderful week only let down by a final night in a competitors hotel who tried to tell us a good night's sleep was not the function of a hotel. But you can read about that in a separate review.

Great hotel for a quick rest before early morning or lat night flights. Rooms were comfy and clean and staff were kind and helpful. Carpark spots weren't clearly marked outside but were clearly marked on a map at reception!
