The Coach House is fully equipped for self-catering. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washer-dryer, so you can prepare meals or handle laundry without leaving the property. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor along with the living and dining areas, and wifi keeps you connected throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided, and heating and electricity are included in the price.
This detached stone cottage sits on the edge of a village roughly five miles from Edinburgh city centre, within the owners' grounds near the Union Canal. One bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom; the other has two single beds and shares access to a shower room. The living room has a woodburner for cooler months, and patio doors open onto a terrace. There is parking on site, and a pub serving food is within a mile's walk.
The location works well for exploring Edinburgh itself, the Pentland Hills for walking, or further trips to Glasgow, Perthshire or Fife. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
