This was definitely worth a visit while in Keswick. It kept my family entertained for an hour and a half. It's dog friendly too, so we could all go in together. We had family fun with lots to see and try, very interesting and plenty of interactive puzzles. At £4.75 each and no charge for my 2 dogs it was also good value for money. A lovely lady at the cash desk and gift shop. A lovely friendly atmosphere, I would definitely visit again. Just to add it was clearly marked as having no toilets, so best to go before you get there. It's very central and was only a short walk from the carpark. Thanx for a lovely time. There are steps up to the entrance and I don't recall any wheelchair access although you could check before you go.

Amazing value! Yes it’s only a few rooms but lots of fun to be had if you take your time and read and interact with everything. Cheap as chips too.

Luckily I called in before visiting a local hostelry, a couple of the exhibits would have been quite challenging if I’d been there first! Inexpensive and a most enjoyable hour spent. A range of puzzles and illusions on display, each with good instructions (other than the nose-on-mirror one that didn’t work for anyone I saw trying) and then explanations as to the reason things happen. The angled room, jump-in kaleidoscope and one with beach hut doors appearing to open were especially good.

Great place to visit with children of school age, and good fun for the adults too! Well worth the entry fee, but when busy in keswick I would suggest pre booking, as there are queues at busy times, the children loved it and was well worth a visit 😀
