We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Canterbury Punting Co, made even better by our brilliant guide, Anthony. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and had such a great way of bringing the tour to life for both adults and children. Anthony shared fascinating stories about the river, the historic trading that once took place there, local history, and legends—from the tale of Troy and the beautiful Helen, to St Francis of Assisi. He also had everyone laughing with his stories about the giant spiders! He made the whole journey fun, interesting, and memorable. We went with our kids and friends, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the perfect mix of history, humour, and beautiful scenery.
