Castrum House

Castrum House is a historic cottage in Handbridge, within walking distance of Chester's city centre. The three-bedroom property sleeps six and comes with the whole place to yourself. A Norwegian wood-fired hot tub sits in the garden—the kind of thing you'd normally find at a spa retreat, except this one is yours for the duration of your stay.

Downstairs holds a living room with a Smart TV, a dining room that doubles as a games room complete with pool table and darts, and a kitchen fitted with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, air fryer and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels, heating and WiFi are all sorted. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Upstairs: two kingsize bedrooms and one with twin single beds. A travel cot and highchair are available. Dogs stay free.

The Handbridge location means you're ten minutes' walk from the city centre along the river, with local shops and dozens of restaurants within a few minutes on foot. There's a pub within a mile. No smoking indoors; check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
